Experience

  

Nearly a decade in work-at-height training 

  • Instructs many forms of rescues from all work-at-height areas and structures.
  • Specializing in bucket trucks, cranes and trees using different equipment such as mono-pods, bi-pods and tripods. 
  • Instructs all 3 levels of rope access, industrial fall protection, tower climbing, artificial high directionals, PPE inspection and several types of rescue techniques. 
  • Focus on advanced rigging, on-going risk assessment and compliance with safe working practices. 
  • Collaborates on training curriculum for work-at-height products.


Contract work

  • Arena rigger.
  • Safety & rope access technician on turbines, buildings, towers and radomes around the world.
  • Mountain/adventure guide - Antarctica and several international high-altitude mountains and expeditions.

Bio

 Martin teaches rope access, rigging and rescue techniques. He has worked in manufacturing, is a former firefighter, and has been a volunteer with Alpine SAR for more than 5 years. Martin has led many expeditions and has summited the highest mountain in all seven continents, but for his last trip, he walked across Antarctica to the South Pole. He enjoys many outdoor activities but mainly rock and ice climbing. He lives in Colorado and has a very tolerant wife and two children.
